Hello, my name is Jorge and, yes, this is me.
You may have expected so much more. Perhaps an incredible photo with a brilliant edition in black and white and why not, a fashionable posture - of course - showing how cool I am; or some very trendy picture of one of my recent travels, exposing a lifestyle that is quite unreal. Or perhaps, a photo with a state-of-the-art camera in a very professional pose, pretending I am leading an award-winning film.
Well, if I am honest, I probably wont ever do any of that. Let me tell you something about this picture. That photo was taken on a Cessna aeroplane at 5 thousand feet with the aeroplane's exit-door open and without a safety-harness, attempting to take an aerial video when drones weren't even thought. By the way, I am acrophobic.
So, this is who I am, and this is what I do. I ignore if any of it, somehow makes me an artist, a photography enthusiast, or a sort of a cinematographer or so. I believe that to get an incredible shot, one just needs to be willing to spot the magic that is everywhere, and I will always do whatever it takes to make it happen. I think this shot speaks for itself.
